By using Live Ebola Map (the "Site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. This is not legal advice.
1. Not medical or official guidance
The Site aggregates community and public reports about Ebola for informational and awareness purposes. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional or for official guidance from the WHO, CDC, or national health authorities. Information may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Always rely on official sources for decisions about your health and safety.
2. Submissions
When you submit a case, you agree that:
- The information is provided in good faith and, to the best of your knowledge, accurate.
- You include a credible, verifiable source.
- You will not submit spam, advertising, false reports, harassing content, or anything unlawful.
- All submissions are queued for moderator review and may be edited, rejected, or removed at our discretion. We do not guarantee that any submission will be published.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display, adapt, and moderate your submitted content as part of the Site.
3. Comments
The discussion section runs on our own self-hosted comment system. You are responsible for what you post. We may moderate or remove comments.
4. Third-party news headlines
The news page lists headlines published by other organisations. We do not write, edit, or host those articles, and we reproduce no article text or images: each entry is a headline as its publisher wrote it, the publisher's name, the publication time, and a link to the original. All rights in the linked articles remain with their publishers, inclusion is not an endorsement of a story's contents, and nothing on that page is used to update this site's map or statistics. Publishers who want a headline removed can email privacy@liveebolamap.com.
5. Donations
Donations are voluntary, sent directly over the Bitcoin Lightning network, and are non-refundable. They do not create any obligation, service, or relationship between us.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it abusively, submit malicious content, or interfere with its security or other users.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use of the Site means you accept the updated terms.
